MAP International Appoints Jill Richardson Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jill Richardson has joined MAP International as vice president and chief financial officer. In this role, Richardson will oversee the finances of the global health organization, which was recently recognized as the No. 2 charity in CNBC's Top 10 Charities Changing the World in 2016 and achieved a score of 100 from Charity Navigator for its financial health, accountability and transparency. MAP International is renowned for its financial efficiency.
Based in Georgia with offices in Atlanta and Brunswick, MAP International provides critical medicine and health supplies to people living in poverty. Most recently, the nonprofit responded to the Syrian refugee crisis by delivering urgently needed medicines and supplies to refugees who fled to neighboring Jordan for safety. The shipment marked a milestone of providing $6 billion in wholesale value medicines and supplies since the organization's inception in 1954. Last year, the nonprofit assisted in more than 100 regions and countries by responding to crises including Hurricane Matthew in Haiti, an earthquake in Honduras, the Zika epidemic in Central America and numerous floods in the United States. Each year the organization provides $330 million in critically important medicines and supplies.

Richardson comes to MAP International after overseeing accounting and finances for the MoneyGram Foundation, which provides vital learning resources to children by offering immediate crisis aid in some of the world's hardest-to-reach communities. During her tenure, Richardson provided leadership in accounting and financial planning for the operating and capital spending of MoneyGram International.
Richardson also served for 12 years at Alliance Data Systems as vice president and controller for the network services division and senior vice president of finance for the Epsilon division.

A native of Texas, Richardson earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech communications from Texas A&M University and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is also a licensed certified public accountant in Texas.
