MAP International has:
- Received the highest overall (four star) rating and a perfect 100 percent numerical score in 2016 from Charity Navigator, making it one of the most efficient and effective nonprofit organizations in the country

To restore communities affected by poverty and devastating natural disasters, MAP International provides vital medicines to 10 million people each year, including antibiotics, oral rehydration salts, and pain and fever reducers, as well as both prescription and non-prescription medicines. Every dollar donated to MAP International is effectively multiplied 60 times in the value of medicine provided to those who need it most.
Each year, pharmaceutical companies donate nearly half a billion dollars of vital medicines to MAP International. Working together with trusted partner nonprofits on the ground, MAP International distributes critical medicines from their headquarters in Brunswick, Georgia, and office in Atlanta to people in need in more than 100 countries, including the U.S.
According to the World Health Organization, more than 5 billion people worldwide lack access to basic—often life-saving—medicines, leading to higher mortality rates, greater infant mortality and an increase in widespread diseases that are easily treatable.
